Celebrate death and all her glory at the National Museum of Funeral History in Houston where “any day above ground is a good one”. Look through exhibits that give information on the history of embalming, deaths of the Pope, historical hearses, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), presidential funerals (you can see a wax figure of Abraham Lincoln laying in his coffin) and the tomb of the unknown soldier. The museum is open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Tickets are $10. Visit www.nmfh.org for more information.
